The
Bible is a truly unique book. Its 66 books were written down
by forty different writers over a period of roughly 1600
years. There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books
in the New Testament. There are a total of 1189 chapters in
the Bible. The Old Testament has 929 chapters. The New
Testament has 260 chapters. The Bible has 31,102 verses. 27%
of the Bible was prophetic (predictive) at the time of its
writing. 75% of Bible prophecy is yet unfulfilled — making
over 20% of the Bible of special interest to us. There are
18 distinctly prophetic books in the Bible. Most other books
contain prophetic statements — either directly or in types,
illustrations, and parables.
The
shortest Old Testament book is Obadiah. The longest Old
Testament book is Psalms. The longest Old Testament prophecy
book is Jeremiah followed by Ezekiel then Isaiah. The
shortest book in the Bible is 3 John. The four shortest
books in the New Testament arranged in order from the
shortest to the longest would be 3 John, 2 John, Philemon,
and Jude. The only book in the Bible that does not mention
the name of God is the book of Esther. However, the book of
Esther has the footprints and hand prints of God all over it
in that it shows the mighty hand of God in the deliverance
of the Jewish people from Haman who is a type of the
antichrist. Perhaps the most unusual book in the Bible is
the Song Of Solomon. At first reading, it appears to be a
mere romance, but upon close examination it reveals itself
as a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church as the
Bride Of Christ.
The King
James Bible is written at an overall grade level of 6.1 with
the Old Testament being written at grade level 6.5 and the
New Testament being at grade level 5.96. When the grade
level scores and the readability scores are combined, the
King James Version proves to be the easiest to read of all
versions. Because of its rhythms and cadences, the King
James Version is also easier to memorize, especially for
children. There are many other reasons that make it
absolutely necessary that English speaking Christians use
only the King James Version. We will discuss some of those
reasons later on in our study.
The King
James Old Testament is written in almost all Hebrew with the
exception of Daniel 2:4-7:28, Ezra 4:8-6:18, Ezra 7:12-26,
and Jeremiah 10:11 which are written in Syriack (Aramaic).
The Old Testament is based upon the Hebrew Masoretic text.
The King James New Testament is based upon the Greek Textus
Receptus.
The
Bible is God’s special revelation to us about who he is. God
has provided us with his word that we may know exactly what
he expects of us. It is God’s intention that we understand
his word. When reading and studying the Bible, always
interpret it literally. If you do not interpret the Bible
literally you will always be speculating about what God
actually means. If God has not stated exactly what He means
in literal terms, you have no way of ever knowing what his
intentions and requirements are. The scriptures are full of
symbols that we would have no way of interpreting and
understanding if God did not explain them to us in the
context. Any scripture that is taken out of context is a
pretext. Many of the prophetic books are loaded with symbols
that would be impossible to understand if God did not
explain them. The books of Daniel, Zechariah, and Revelation
are chock full of symbols. Many folks get into trouble in
these books because they try to attach some wild and
mystical meaning to these symbols. Every one of these
symbols is explained in the context of the chapter or the
book. We must train ourselves to look for it. We must
rightly divide the word of truth. Many folks say they cannot
understand the book of Revelation because of the symbols
The
author of every book in the Bible is the Holy Ghost of God.
The Bible has an amazing unity with its central theme being
the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ walks down
through every page of our Bibles because he is the Living
Word of God. For true Bible believers, the Bible is our
written standard and guideline for all rules of faith and
practice. The only pure and perfect Bible for English
speaking peoples is the 1611 Authorized King James Version.
It is the only English Bible that God has truly blessed
since its publication in 1611. It is the only English Bible
that God has used for great revivals since its publication.
We have not had a great revival in the United States since
the “professing” church forsook the King James Bible. The
church makes no distinction between the worlds methods and
God’s methods. The church dresses just like the world. The
church listens to the world’s music and brings it into the
church. The church makes no distinction between the holy
Word of God and the profane babblings of a bunch of demon
possessed so-called Bible scholars. Just as the Living Word,
the Lord Jesus Christ, was crucified between to thieves, the
written word of God is being crucified between two thieves:
the dollar and the scholar. The Bible says in:
Ezekiel 22:25-28
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the
prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the
treasure and precious things; they have made her
many widows in the midst thereof. 26 Her priests
have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy
things: they have put no difference between the holy
and profane, neither have they shewed difference
between the unclean and the clean, and have hid
their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among
them. 27 Her princes in the midst thereof are
like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and
to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. 28 And her
prophets have daubed them with untempered morter,
seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying,
Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not
spoken.
|
The Lord
Jesus Christ said in Matthew 7:15-20:
Matthew 7:15-20
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in
sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do
men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A
good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither
can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is
hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by
their fruits ye shall know them.
|
Paul
said in Acts 20:29-30:
Acts 20:29-30
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall
grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the
flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise,
speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples
after them.

THE WORD
It is
not entirely correct to say that the Bible contains God’s
word. It is more correct to say that the Bible IS God’s
word. Many perversions contain the word of God, but the 1611
Authorized King James Version is the word of God for English
speaking peoples.
John 1:1,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word was made
flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
Revelation 19:11-13
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white
horse; and he that sat upon him was called
Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth
judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a
flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew,
but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a
vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The
Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:13-17
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and
worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But
continue thou in the things which thou hast learned
and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast
learned them; 15 And that from a child thou
hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to
make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is
in Christ Jesus. 16
All scripture
is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
Job 32:7-8
7 I said, Days should speak, and
multitude of years should teach wisdom. 8
But there is a spirit in man: and the
inspiration of the Almighty giveth them
understanding. |
The term
inspiration in verse 16 above means “God breathed”. The
scriptures are God breathed because they are the breath of
life. These verses also tell us that
all scripture
is given by inspiration; not just parts of it. The Bible is
not a candy store. We cannot pick and choose those parts
that we will accept or those that we will reject. It’s all
or none. We must take the whole counsel of God. Note that
there are some very, very powerful words in this passage
(doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction). We are not
to correct the Bible. The Bible is to be used to correct us.
Also note from Job 32:7-8 that it is the inspiration of God
that gives us understanding.
Many
times we hear preachers, pastors, and teachers use the terms
inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We have already seen
that inspired means “God breathed”. Inerrant means that
every detail in the Bible was recorded without error.
Infallible means that the Bible is without error in its
teaching. It is also said that the Bible is verbally
inspired. By this we mean that the very words of
Scripture are God̓s words. Inspiration goes beyond the
concepts and message to actual words.
You will also hear the term plenary inspiration used
sometimes. The word “plenary” means “extending to all
parts alike,” and by Plenary Inspiration we mean all of the
Bible is inspired and every part of the Bible is equally
inspired.
Many
Bible correctors will tell you that the Bible is only
inspired in the originals. There is a big problem with that
statement. They cannot prove it because we do not have the
originals. God made sure that the originals were destroyed
because if he had not, man would have set them up to worship
as idols. The original of the 1611 Authorized King James
Version was destroyed in a fire. What we have is preserved
copies of the originals and God ordained translations of the
copies. Inspiration extends equally to all of them.
It is
very important that we know that God gave the scriptures to
holy men of God. Holy men of God are saved men. There were
no unbelievers in the group. The Bible says in:
2 Peter 1:19-21
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a
light that shineth in a dark place, until the day
dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the
scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For
the prophecy came not in old time by the will of
man: but holy men of God spake as they were
moved by the Holy Ghost.
|
It is a cinch that if God
gave the scriptures to holy men of God that he is also going
to call holy men of God to translate them. Any translation
that comes out of a committee that is composed of a mixed
multitude of deceived Christians, apostates, unbelievers,
cultists, sodomites, and anti-Semitics cannot have the
approval of God. These be the filthy dreamers of Jude 8.
The New International Version (NIV) is the darling of many
Southern Baptists and many Sovereign Grace Baptists. The
only problem is that this darling has been hanging around
with the harlot of Revelation 17. This NIV perversion and
all other new perversions are the perverse disputings of men
and women of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth (1
Timothy 6:5).
These men and women are being used of the devil and
therefore being carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive and be deceived.
Deuteronomy 8:1-3
All the commandments which I command thee this day
shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and
multiply, and go in and possess the land which the
LORD sware unto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt
remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee
these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee,
and to prove thee, to know what was in
thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his
commandments, or no. 3 And he humbled thee, and
suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna,
which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers
know; that he might make thee know that man doth not
live by bread only, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man
live.
Matthew 4:4 (Luke 4:4)
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
John 6:67-68
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go
away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to
whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal
life.

Psalm 119 is referred to as
“The Word Of God Psalm”. Psalm 119 is composed of 22 sets of
8 verses each that commence with the same Hebrew letter. It
starts with the very first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and
proceeds exactly in order through the entire Hebrew
alphabet. Each of the verses in verses1-8 will all start
with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Each of the
verses in verses 9-16 will start with the second letter of
the Hebrew alphabet and etc. all the way through the
alphabet. The phrase “thy word” is used 35 times in Psalm
119.
Psalm 119:9,11,89,105,133,140,160-161
9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his
way? by taking heed thereto according to thy
word.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might
not sin against thee.
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in
heaven. 105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto my path.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any
iniquity have dominion over me.
140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy
servant loveth it.
160 Thy word is true from the
beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments
endureth for ever.
161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a
cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
John 17:17
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth.

WHAT ARE WE TO DO WITH THE
WORD OF GOD
We are to read, study,
rightly divide, and meditate upon the scriptures. We are to
use the scriptures as our guiding light; as our standard for
living; and as our standard for pleasing God. Note the
following scriptures:
Joshua 1:8
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy
mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according to
all that is written therein: for then thou shalt
make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
1 Timothy 4:13-15
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to
exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift
that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy,
with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly
to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
John 5:39
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye
have eternal life: and they are they which testify
of me.
Acts 17:11
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness of
mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether
those things were so.
1 Peter 2:2
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the
word, that ye may grow thereby:
2 Timothy 2:2,15
2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among
many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful
men, who shall be able to teach others also. 15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth.
Hebrews 5:11-14
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to
be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For
when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have
need that one teach you again which be the
first principles of the oracles of God; and are
become such as have need of milk, and not of strong
meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is
unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a
babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are
of full age, even those who by reason of use
have their senses exercised to discern both good and
evil.
Revelation 1:3
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that
hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those
things which are written therein: for the time is
at hand.

How do we know that we can
and do have the word of God in our hands? The answer is that
God has promised that he will preserve his words forever.
God has promised that His word will stand forever. Turn in
your Bibles to:
Psalm 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as
silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven
times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt
preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 119:89
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in
heaven.
Isaiah 40:8
8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the
word of our God shall stand for ever.
Matthew 24:35 (Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33)
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words
shall not pass away.
1 Peter 1:23-25
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as
grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of
grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof
falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth
for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel
is preached unto you.

WHAT DOES GOD THINK OF HIS
WORD
The
phrase “holy name” is used 20 times in the Old Testament in
relation to the name of God. The name of God was considered
to be so holy that most Jewish people even refused to speak
it. Scribes when they were preparing to write the name of
God (Jehovah) in manuscripts considered the name to be so
holy they would wash their whole body before writing it.
Would to God that the whole wolfpack of modern day Bible
correcting heretics, apostates, and demon possessed scholars
had even a touch of this type of respect for God and the
word of God. Our Bibles say in:
Acts 4:12
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for
there is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name: 10 That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of
things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth; 11 And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Psalm 138:1-2
1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the
gods will I sing praise unto thee. 2 I will worship
toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy
lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast
magnified thy word above all thy name.
|
Did you
hear that! God has magnified his word even above that most
holy name! That should serve as yet another warning to any
who would tamper with the word of God. The Hebrew Massorites
(those who had charge over the Word of God) had so much
respect for the word of God that they recorded the number of
times each letter occurred in each book of the Old
Testament. For each book, they also recorded the number of
words, the middle word, the number of verses, the middle
verse, and the number of sentences. All this was done to
prevent the loss of a single letter or word.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY
ABOUT ITSELF
2 Peter 3:15-16
15 And account that the longsuffering of our
Lord is salvation; even as our beloved
brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto
him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his
epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which
are some things hard to be understood, which they
that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do
also the other scriptures, unto their own
destruction.
Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is
a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart.
|
John 10:35 also says
that the scripture cannot be broken.
ADDING TO OR TAKING AWAY
The Bible has numerous
warnings not to add or take away from the Bible. Yet, modern
man has the audacity to play with the word of God as if it
were a bowl of alphabet soup or a bunch of ABC blocks in a
modern day care center. It is very dangerous to handle the
word of God in a deceitful, audacious, or careless way.
Matthew 5:18 says: “For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no
wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.
So, we see that God demands
that we respect his word even down to the jots and tittles.
The jots and tittles are tiny marks that make the
distinction between the different letters of the Hebrew
alphabet. Revelation 22:18 even warns against taking
away from the
words of the
book.
Revelation 22:19 says: “And if any man shall take
away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall
take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the
holy city, and from the things which are written in
this book”. Note that this Scripture says that we are not to
even take away from the words (that is, subtract letters).
That should be a very strong warning to those who handle the
word of God so nonchalantly. Note the following Scriptures
also:
Deuteronomy 4:1-2
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes
and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do
them, that ye may live, and go in and possess
the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth
you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I
command you, neither shall ye diminish ought
from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the
LORD your God which I command you.
Deuteronomy 12:32
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do
it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from
it.
Proverbs 30:5-6
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a
shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add
thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and
thou be found a liar.
Jeremiah 26:2
2 Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the
LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities of
Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house,
all the words that I command thee to speak unto
them; diminish not a word:
Revelation 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the
words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall
add unto these things, God shall add unto him the
plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any
man shall take away from the words of the book of
this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of
the book of life, and out of the holy city, and
from the things which are written in this book.

There
have been at least 156 complete English Bibles published
since the Authorized King James Bible was published in 1611.
None have stood the test of time. Since the ‘professing”
church in general forsook the KJV, the church in America is
drowning in a sea of apostasy, heresy, abominations, and
outright blasphemy.
Since about 1881 the Bible
of English speaking peoples has come under the most vile
attack imaginable. 1881 was the year that English Revised
Version was first published along with a new, polluted Greek
text that was foisted on the world by two Anglican heretics
and apostates known as Brooke Foss Westcott and Fenton John
Anthony Hort; collectively known as Westcott and Hort. This
perverted Westcott and Hort Greek text is the textual basis
for almost all New Testaments in the modern perversions of
the Bible regardless of language.
The 1611 Authorized King
James Version Old Testament is based upon the Hebrew
Masoretic Text (sometimes called the Ben Chayyim Text). All
new perversions of the Bible use a corrupt Hebrew text known
as Biblia Hebraica published by Rudolph Kittel, an
antisemitic German who hated the Jewish people. The 1611
Authorized King James Version New Testament is based mainly
upon the Greek Textus Receptus (usually referred to as the
Received Text). The Greek Textus Receptus was compiled from
5,210 Greek manuscripts. The corrupt Westcott-Hort Greek
text was compiled from only 45 Greek manuscripts. Those 45
manuscripts were some of the most corrupt known. That means
that the Westcott-Hort Greek text was based upon only .86%
(less than 1%) of the available manuscripts. When all of the
evidence is compiled against the corrupt Westcott-Hort Greek
text, it is discovered that their text was based almost
solely upon only two corrupt Roman Catholic manuscripts
known as Vaticanus and Sinaiticus.
The
Vatican manuscript omits Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 46:28;
Psalms 106 through Psalms 138; Matthew 16:2–3, Romans 16:24
the Pauline Pastoral Epistles; Revelation; and everything in
Hebrews after Hebrews 9:14 (read from Hebrews 9:15 through
the end of chapter 10 and you will see why). The
Vaticanus manuscript was not even discovered until the late
1300s or early 1400s in the library at the Vatican. The
Sinaiticus manuscript was discovered in the 1800s discarded
in a waste basket in a monastery at the base of Mount Sinai
in a room stacked to the ceiling with skulls. Dean Burgon, a
strong defender of the King James Bible had this to say
about these manuscripts (B= Vaticanus, א= Sinaiticus):
Singular to relate the first, second, fourth, and
fifth of these codecs is (B א C D), but especially B
and א, have within the last twenty years established
a tyrannical ascendancy over the imagination of the
Critics, which can only be sadly spoken of as blind
superstition. It matters nothing that all four are
discovered on careful scrutiny to differ
essentially, not only from ninety-nine out of a
hundred of the whole body of the extant MSS.
besides, but even from one another. This last
circumstance, obviously fatal to their corporate
pretensions, is unaccountably overlooked. And yet it
admits of only one satisfactory explanation: viz.
that in different degrees they all five
exhibit a fabricated Text. Between the first two (B
and א) their subsists an amount of sinister
resemblance, which proves that they must have been
derived at no very remote period from the same
corrupt original. Tischendorf insists that they were
partly written by the same scribe. Yet, do they
stand asunder in every page; as well as differ
widely from the commonly received Text, with which
they have been carefully collated. On being referred
to this standard, in the Gospels alone, B is found
to omit at least 2877 words: to add, 536: to
substitute, 935: to transpose, 2098: to modify, 1132
(in all 7578): – the corresponding figures for א
being severally 3455, 839, 1114, 2299, 1265 (in all
8972). And be it remembered that the omissions,
additions, substitutions, transpositions, and
modifications, are by no means the same in
both. It is in fact easier to find two
consecutive verses in which these two manuscripts
differ the one from the other, and than two
consecutive verses in which they entirely agree.
But by far the most depraved text, is that exhibited
by codex D. No known manuscript contains so many
bold and extensive interpolations. Though a large
portion of the Gospels is missing, and what remains
(tested by the same standard) we find 3704 words
omitted: no less than 2213 added, and 2121
substituted. The words transposed amount to 3471:
and 1772 have been modified: the deflections from
the received text thus amounting in all to 13,281 –
Next to D, the most untrustworthy codexs is א, which
bears on its front a memorable note of the evil
repute under which it has always labored: viz. it is
found that at least 10 revisers between the IVth
and a XIIth centuries busied themselves
with the task of correcting its many an
extraordinary perversions of the truth of Scripture.
– next in impurity comes B: – then, the fragmentary
codecx C: our own A being beyond all doubt,
disfigured by the fewest blemishes of any.
We venture to assure him, without a particle of
hesitation, the א, B, and D are three of the most
scandalously corrupt copies extant: – exhibit the
most shamefully mutilated texts which are anywhere
to be met with: – have become, by whatever process
(for their history is wholly unknown), the
depositories of the largest amount of fabricated
readings, ancient blunders, and intentional
perversions of truth, – which are discoverable in
any known copies of the Word of God.

Please take note of the
following comments by James Melton about Westcott and Hort:
1. Together, the Life and Letters of Brooke Foss
Westcott and the Life and Letters of Fenton
John Anthony Hort run over 1,800 pages. A
personal salvation testimony is not given once for
either man, and the name "Jesus" is found only nine
times!
2. Westcott was a firm believer in Mary worship, and
Hort claimed that Mary worship had a lot in common
with Jesus worship.
3. Hort believed in keeping Roman Catholic
sacraments.
4. Hort believed in baptismal regeneration as taught
in the Catholic church.
5. Hort rejected the infallibility of Scripture.
6. Hort took great interest in the works of Charles
Darwin, while both he and Westcott rejected the
literal account of Creation.
7. Westcott did not believe in the Second Coming of
Christ, the Millennium, or a literal Heaven.
8. Both men rejected the doctrine of a literal Hell,
and they supported prayers for the dead in
purgatory.
9. Hort refused to believe in the Trinity.
10. Hort refused to believe in angels.
11. Westcott confessed that he was a communist by
nature.
12. Hort confessed that he hated democracy in all
it's forms.
13. Westcott also did his share of beer drinking. In
fact, only twelve years after the Revised Version
was published, Westcott was a spokesman for a
brewery.
14. While working on their Greek text (1851-1871),
and while working on the Revision Committee for the
Revised Version (1871-1881), Westcott and Hort were
also keeping company with "seducing spirits and
doctrines of devils" (I Tim. 4:1). Both men took
great interest in occult practices and clubs.
They started the Hermes Club in 1845, the
Ghostly Guild in 1851, and Hort joined a secret
club called The Apostles in the same year.
They also started the Eranus Club in 1872.
These were spiritualists groups which believed in
such unscriptural practices as communicating with
the dead (necromancy).
15. The Westcott and Hort Greek text was SECRETLY
given to the Revision Committee.
16. The members of the Revision Committee of 1881
were sworn to a pledge of secrecy in regard to the
new Greek text being used, and they met in silence
for ten years.
17. The corrupt Greek text of Westcott and Hort was
not released to the public until just five days
before the debut of the Revised Version. This
prevented Bible-believing scholars like Dean Burgon
from reviewing it and exposing it for the piece of
trash that it was.

Why the THEEs, THYs, YEs
AND THOUs?
The thees and thous are the
only accurate translations of the Greek pronouns from which
the King James pronouns come. These King James pronouns were
not a part of the everyday English that was spoken in
England at the time the King James Version was translated.
They were a type of Biblical English. A check of the preface
to the 1611 Authorized King James Version will prove this to
be true.
WHAT ABOUT STUDY BIBLES
We cannot not recommend any
study Bibles that we have looked at because I have yet to
find one that does not use the study notes to correct the
text of the King James Bible. I have looked at all the study
notes in The Ryrie KJV Study Bible, the King James Study
Bible published by Liberty University, The Defenders KJV
Study Bible, the KJV Thompson’s Chain Reference Bible, the
1917 KJV Scofield Study Bible, and the KJV Companion Study
Bible. All of them have notes in them that question the
accuracy of the King James Bible. The least offensive of all
the study Bibles that we have seen is the Old Scofield
Study. The New Scofield Study Bible claims to be a KJV
Bible, but they have lied because there are over 6,000
changes in the text.
The King James Bible is the
whipping post for Satan and his scholars. As one lady has
aptly said: “The Bible is being crucified between two
thieves: the dollar and the scholar.”
There are no errors in the
1611 Authorized King James Version. It is a perfect
translation of the Greek and Hebrew texts that it is based
upon.
